BV Series Butterfly Valve

The butterfly valve has been the workhorse in the material handling industry for decades and is typically utilized in dilute or dense phase pressure or vacuum systems or under atmospheric (gravity) conditions. This valve utilizes a disc that seals against a seat (Buna-N, EDPM, etc.,) in the valve body.

Design standards

• Wafer style, ductile iron, body
• Nylon coated ductile iron disc and stem
• Stainless steel stem with corrosion resistant ertalyte bushing
• Machined top plate to accommodate actuator
• FDA Approved black Nitrile seat

Optional features

• Stainless steel body
• Lug style body
• Stainless steel or nickel plated disc
• Teflon, EPDM or Viton seat
• Air or manual operator
