Fluidizer Bed
The fluidizer bed is utilized as a flow aid to help in discharging material from a storage silo or bin. This device is for use with products that are easily fluidizable (i.e., flour, some calcium carbonates, some starches, etc.,)
Design standards
- Carbon steel dished head and outlet stub
- Perforated metal plate with two (2) annular support rings to support diffuser cloth
- 5 Ply, 3/16" thick, diffuser cloth
- 1" Drain with plug
Optional features
- Two (2) 3" sight glasses for visual inspection beneath diffuser cloth
- 304 Stainless steel dished head and outlet stub
- Carbon steel dished head with 304 stainless steel discharge stub
- Pressure blower to provide fluidization air
- Mounting hardware and sealant
- Food grade or industrial grade epoxy on interior of dished head
