Scale Hopper
Our scale hoppers are available in two different versions:
SHP Series: This type of scale is utilized when the hopper is being pneumatically filled via a Hopper/Scale Fill Valve. This type of fill system requires the use of a mechanical vacuum breaker valve with vent sock so the hopper can "breathe", air in during the discharge cycle.
SHG Series: This type of scale is utilized when the hopper is being filled via gravity. This type of fill system requires the use of a vent sock so the hopper can vent displaced air and "breathe", air in during the discharge cycle. Please note that when handling "dusty or fine", products it is recommended that a vent filter be utilized in place of the vent sock.
