VBV Series Inline Vacuum Breaker Valve
This valve allows free air to be drawn into a vacuum system. A rubber disc seats against the valve body. In the open position it allows air to be drawn into the system at that location. The vacuum breaker valve is also included with our standard vacuum blower package to protect the blower against a high vacuum start blower under a “no-load”, condition, and to allow blower to idle during a “no convey/stand-by”, condition. The valve is also utilized to “purge”, the conveying line when the feed point into a vacuum system cannot be isolated (e.g., rotary airlock, screw feeder, etc.).
