VPU Series Extruder Hood

VPU SERIES EXTRUDER HOOD Our Vertical Pick-Up extruder hood is designed to allow for conveying of expanded products from an extruder to a dryer utilizing a negative airlift system.

Design standards

  • Designed for vertical pick-up from the extruder cutting head dye
  • Counter-weighted sample gate
  • Manually operated by-pass gate
  • Swing-away split hood
  • 304 Stainless steel construction

Optional features

  • Air operated by-pass gate with air cylinder and single solenoid valve - NEMA 4 enclosure
  • 316 Stainless steel construction
  • Horizontal pick-up configuration
